Common questions

Where do lessons come from? A set of hand-written lessons ships with the app. New ones are written on your iPhone from Wikipedia articles, using Apple's on-device intelligence where your iPhone supports it. Each lesson links to its sources.

Can I choose my own subjects? Yes. Pick from suggestions when you first open Mirio, and add, rename or delete categories any time in Settings, or use Teach me about… in the Library to get a lesson on any topic.

Why didn't I get a reminder? Check that Daily reminder is on in Mirio's Settings and that notifications for Mirio are allowed in the iPhone Settings app.

Does Mirio need an account? No. There's no sign-up, and everything stays on your iPhone.
